Bénédicte Cronier

Born 1961, Bénédicte Cronier has been a member of the French Ladies team for more than thirty years. With the French team, she is a three time World champion (Venice Cup 2005, 2011, 2015) and five time European champion (1987, 1995, 2006, 2008, 2010). She also won the 2000 Individual (Master’s Generali) world championship. Her partnership with Sylvie Willard is one of the longest and most successful of all time : besides winning a lot of prestigious titles, they were awarded the 2013 Sidney H. Lazard Jr. Sportsmanship Award. Nowadays Bénédicte plays in the French mixed team with her husband Philippe Cronier : after a bronze medal in the 2019 European championship, they won the 2021 online European trial and won the 2022 world mixed team championship for the Wuhan Cup.
