Senior Pairs

The European Senior Pairs Championship (see “Categories” for the definition of a Senior) was established in 1989 at the initiative of then EBL Seniors Committee Chairman Nissan Rand. It was initially held in conjunction with the European Open Pairs Championships every odd-numbered year. It was discontinued as a separate event in 2001 and, as of 2003, was incorporated in the European Transnational Championships .
