The recent earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria have caused appalling devastation with tens of thousands of lives lost, including some of our fellow bridge players.
The EBL Executive Committee wishes to extend its sympathies to the families of all the victims, and to the wider communities that have been so severely affected. To offer some tangible help, the WBF in conjunction with EBL and ACBL has decided to organise several online fundraising events, in addition to supporting the efforts being made by the Turkish Bridge Federation, Tracey Bauer, ECatsBridge and others.
We would encourage as many as possible to participate in these events. Many of them will be played on the BBO or FunBridge platforms and we can confirm that 100% of the entry fees in those events will go to the fundraising efforts, thanks to the support of 52Entertainment.
