The European Universities Mindsports Championship has concluded on July 28 with a vibrant Closing Ceremony at the University of Physical Education in Budapest, Hungary.
Over 140 participants representing 35 Universities from 19 countries took part in this year’s edition of the event.
FINAL RESULTS
1. Kozminski University (Igor Losiewicz, Arkadiusz Majcher, Piotr Marcinowski, Lukasz Witkowski – POL)
2. Charles University (Michael Botur, Erik Klems, Lucie Kohutova, Lukas Kolek, Martin Melcak, Jakub Vojtik – CZE)
3. Wroclaw University (Alicja Mysliwiec, Jakub Patreuha, Arkadiusz Poziemski, Ryszard Rosikiewicz – POL)
The medals and awards were presented by Mr Liviu Matac, European University Sports Association; Mr Oleksandr Sulypa, EUSA Chess Technical Delegate; Mr Géza Homonnay, the President of the Hungarian Bridge Association, Mr. Harry van de Peppel EUSA Bridge Technical Delegate and Mr Tamás Sterbenz, Vice-Rector of the University of Physical Education, who in his concluding address, declared the Championship officially closed.
