In the Open Teams for the Rosenblum Cup –
Gold Medals went to Team Zimmermann – Geir Helgemo, Tor Helness, Franck Multon & Pierre Zimmermann from Monaco, with Piotr Gawryś & Michal Klukowski from Poland; Silver to Team Lavazza – Alejandro Bianchedi, Norberto Bocchi, Giorgio Duboin, Agustín Madala, Antonio Sementa, Maria Teresa Lavazza & Massimo Ortensi from Italy with Dennis Bilde from Denmark; Bronze to Team Allfrey – Alexander Allfrey, Edward Jones, Tom Paske & Andrew Robson from England.

In the Women’s Teams for the McConnell Cup –
Gold Medals went to Sally Brock & Fiona Brown from England, part of the Baker team; Silver to Team Smith – Nicola Smith & Yvonne Wiseman from England, Sølvi Remen from Norway, Paula Leslie from Scotland and Kathrine Bertheau & Jessica Larsson from Sweden; Bronze to Team Aperol – Tatiana Dikhnova, Victoria Gromova, Anna Gulevich & Tatiana Ponomareva from Russia, with Catherine D’Ovidio & Sylvie Willard from France and Team Baroni – Irene Baroni & Simonetta Paoluzi from Italy and Véronique Bessis & Anne-Laure Huberschwiller from France.

In the Rand Cup for Senior Teams –
Gold Medals went to Krzysztof Martens from Monaco and Michal Kwiecień from Poland.

In the Mixed Teams –
Silver Medals went to Richard Ritmeijer, Magdalena Tichá & Ricco van Prooijen from the Netherlands, and Sally Brock from England, part of the Wilson team; Bronze went to Sjoert Brink, Simon de Wijs, & Bas Drijver from the Netherlands, Christina Lund Madsen from Denmark, and Daniela von Arnim from Germany who played on the Ferm team.

In the Open Pairs, Gold Medals went to Mikael & Ola Rimstedt from Sweden and Bronze to Boguslaw Gierulski and Jerzy Skrzypczak representing Lithuania – the first World Championship medals for Lithuania.

In the Women Pairs – Gold Medals went to Véronique Bessis & Anne-Laure Huberschwiller from France.

In the Senior Pairs – Silver Medals went to Apolinary Kowalski and Jacek Romański from Poland.

In the Mixed Pairs – Gold Medals went to Sylvie Willard from France and Franck Multon from Monaco;

Bronze Medals went to Bénédicte & Phillippe Cronier from France.
