Team Knottenbelt (Maggie Knottenbelt, Michael Byrne, Oscar Nijssen, Ben Norton, Stefano Tommasini, Tim van de Paverd) conquered the Zimmermann Cup, overcoming team De Botton (Janet De Botton, Thomas Charlsen, Espen Erichsen, Nicolai Heiberg-Evenstad, Geir Helgemo, Thor Erik Hoftaniska, Artur Malinowski) with a final score of 98–92 IMPs.

ALTSHULER WINS THE WINTER SWISS CUP

Team Altshuler (Ron Pachtman, Piotr Zatorski, Gilad Altshuler, Yoram Aviram), the Israeli-Polish connection, emerged on top of Semifinal A and never looked back, leading Final A from start to finish to earn the Swiss Cup! 2nd was team Zimmermann and 3rd team Formidables.

SHEFFY-SOFFER: CHECKMATE IN THE WINTER OPEN PAIRS

Israeli pair Ram Soffer, Chess International Master, and Ron Sheffy scored 56.30% to win the Winter Open Pairs. Zach Grossack and Selen Hotamisligil (USA) finished second, with Hüseyin Kerem Avcıoğlu and Serkan Sofu (Türkiye) in third.

LATVIA GOES BAM!

Team Latvia (Edgars Olla, Jurijs Balasovs, Janis Ilzins, Karlis Rubins) topped the Open BAM. The English team Foursquire finished second, with the Danish team To Bid or Not to Bid in third.
